IN ACTION
Every contribution to the AISCT Scholarship Program makes a meaningful difference. As part of the mission we live by at AISCT, we believe it is critical to provide students with the opportunities and confidence to positively impact the world.
While AISCT covers their full tuition, a gift to the AISCT Scholarship Program covers all the 鈥渆xtra鈥� costs that make the high school experience complete, including:
- MacBook & Textbooks
- AP and SAT fees
- Up to six university application fees
- School and PE uniforms
- Prom and tickets to school events
- Transportation support and camp experiences
- One international travel trip for sports, arts, or academics
- Other ad-hoc fees as requested and approved by the scholarship committee
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT:
AHMED鈥橲 STORY
In 2024, Ahmed graduated from AISCT. A Sudanese refugee living in Cape Town, he showed up one day as a 15-year-old wanting to independently study and take AP exams. We steered him to our scholarship program, where he was unanimously accepted.
Three years later, he graduated with an impressive record and an array of AP courses and technology achievements. While he was accepted overseas, he didn’t receive the scholarships he hoped for. He spent the next year as an apprentice at AISCT, supporting our technology program and building up his resume.
Then, he got the breakthrough opportunity he was waiting for: The University of Rochester, NY awarded him a full scholarship and all travel and boarding expenses. After much fanfare and Visa issues (which were supported by the US consulate), he sent us a selfie from New York this past August with the simple caption, 鈥淚 made it.鈥�

Every gift contributes directly to supporting AISCT students through the Scholarship Program, helping expand access to an AISCT education.
Does my donation make a difference?
Yes! Every contribution, no matter the size, helps strengthen access to education and supports students in reaching their full potential.
Is my information and payment secure?
Yes. All personal and payment information is processed securely through Absa Bank. Your information is protected and will only be used for AISCT-related communication.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
AISCT is able to provide a Section 18A tax certificate for donations made by South African taxpayers, which can be used to claim a tax deduction. We are also able to accommodate donations from the United States; please email [email protected] to learn more about giving options.
In which currency should I make my donation?
All donations are currently processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Do I need to include a reference with my donation?
Yes. Please include a clear reference (such as your name) when making your gift so we can identify your contribution and thank you appropriately.
